Help ID Heat SKink

Folks,
While doing some interior this past weekend, I had the lower dash (Correct name for this piece/Radio bezel trim?) removed for ease of assembly.

When in there I noticed a heat sink assembly around the LH knee area, and before I start looking around I was hoping someone will be able to help in identifying what this is?

Comments, suggestions?

Thanks!

Without a picture my first guess is the Panel lamps dimming module with wire colors yellow, gray, and dark green.

Second guess on a car with daytime running lights diode with wire colors dark blue and tan.
