Electric Pressure Guages

Wanted to clarify something here .
There was a conversation on electric pressure gauges.
It is generally accepted that the stepper motor gauge is more accurate and much steadier needle.

Because of the brands and types of gauges I use in numerous applications have always used 3 wire 0-5 volt film type transducers , I wrongly ASSumed all stepper type gauges used them.
Is is incorrect, as some lower cost stepper gauges still use the less accurate variable resistance type

If your are looking at electric pressure gauges , make sure they use the high quality, voltage type transducer
