I found this rubber part inside my drivers door while replacing the regulator.
Does anyone recognize the part and can you tell me where it is supposed to go.
I’m refinishing my complete door internals and don’t want to miss anything before I button it back up.
Any and all information is very appreciated...

Offhand, it looks like a broken window lower stop--item 62 on the diagram here:

Yep... I do believe you are correct.
I stuck my head in the access hole and could see where it mounted ether bottom of the door, the bolt holding it in place had fallen out, so, a nyloc nut and new round head bolt and it’s back home where it belongs. It does appear to be a window stop for the bottom of the window should something with the regulator let go.
Thank you for the great diagram, it also helps me with restoring the door...
