vacuum for Heater/AC controls
On my 95SS, on the right side of the intake, and more than halfway back there's a small vacuum port that looks it connects to a small bore vacuum tube that disappears with a bundle of wires and it's probably for the HVAC controls inside my car. I had been noticing when shutting the car off a sound like released vacuum and looking at the design on my 95 RMW, that same vacuum line has a small check valve near the intake. The line on my 95 SS doesn't. The guy that repaired my motor buggared up a lot of things, and I noticed this line was twisted weird (he might have broken it) - isn't there supposed to be a check valve on the HVAC line, or maybe it doesn't matter? Anyone know the part number or on the parts CD where to find it??
