A piece of 5/8 i.d. clear tubing and a small worm clamp will work fine. Take a zip tie and direct it under the car and cut it at the proper length. It's a permanent fix that works better than replacing the original elbow. Replace you heater core while you are at it. It's not like it costs a fortune or is a big job.
