Expert opinion on water pump/timing cover seal

I need to replace my water pump. Long story short, the car sat for about two years. From my engine being rebuilt in May, the water pump seal in the timing cover is basically brand new (e.g. 3 months old). It looks to be in fine shape and not leaking. I'd like to not have to replace that seal when I do my water pump, given it is so new. Would everyone here be good with that?

It's not necessary to replace the seal in the timing chain cover when swapping out the water pump. If it's only 3 months old and not leaking, leave it alone.
