Admin only manages this car forum as they do for the many other forums they own. They are not be the correct party to recommend where to post a new thread on a given topic. Simply use the pulldown labeled 'FORUMS' and select the section with the best fit. Generally, it is not productive to post the same new topic in multiple sections. You have been doing pretty well so far with your 12 posts, but avoid rapidfire duplicate threads about the same topic.

Thank you for your reply. I actually want to be more active in general in everything that incorporates our cars, I l9ves these cars and would do anything to save them.
Unfortunitly life has ..not only thrown me a curve ball, but pretty much put me against the ropes..
Which brings me to what I wanted to inquire about..
Where would I post to tell my story and ask the community for help to find the shops/mechanics/people that would be willing to help a brother in need?
Thank you, and God bless.

Try starting at the beginning; - with a new member introduction:
https://www.impalassforum.com/vBulle...introductions/

And read the 'Read Before Posting' stickie before posting:
https://www.impalassforum.com/vBulle...e-posting.html

The most effective way of letting people who frequent this forum know more about you is to volunteer information about yourself; 1.List your location, 2. Fill out your Profile; livelihood or avocation, interests etc., 3. list car(s) you own along with any mods, 4. review others' signature lines and make up your own, - pretty much the basic stuff.

As far as "telling your story," the MISCELLANEOUS section is intended for all topics not car-related. And just a suggestion, but you ought to prrof your posts bfor posting them to assure the least n0mber of tipos and misleading punctuation (or total absence thereof). That effort on your part shows regard for others who you are hoping to provide feedback, and will pay off in more and better quality replies.

And whenever I start out on a new forum, I search and search and search for a long time about any and every topic I want help with - just to see if there are already dozens of threads covering (and re-covering and re-covering) the exact same topic.

I hope all that helps, and happy posting!

Lots of good tipos there. I couldn't have said it better. Even though you're a long time member, as 96Black stated research and try to carefully detail any problems. There are centuries of information here. Glad to see you along for the ride. Cheers

I appreciate your guidence fellas..everything in my life is car related. My cars have been here for me when no one else was, and I want to save them.
I knew the guys from TAISSO up here (TORONTO AREA IMPALA SS OWNERS) but they seem to have dispanded and lost touch. I own one of their members cars and a matching V.I.N. sister type situation car. My BLACK SAFFIRE 91 (part 9C1) has 288 in the V.I.N. MY burgundy LTZ (seems to kinda basically be like a 9C3 set up) has the V.I.N. 822. And I need to find good affirdable shops/people up here to get urgent work done. Right now my right hand bushings on my lower A arm are shot and Im affraid something serious could happen..so I'm in a panic..
