"So I bought so dynamat for my trunk. Where should I put it first? Should I put 2 layers in the trunk?"
Love to help. I've put a whole roll of Fattmat in the cabin, and quite pleased. I bought another roll for the trunk.
Stuff I need to know to give intelligent answers:
-How much is "some"?
-Where to put it first? You already said it's for your trunk.
-Have you put some somewhere else already?
I've read that best return on products like Dyna- and Fatt- for sound is to focus on a large square patch in each large panel area instead of trying to carpet the entire expanse to every nook and cranny. You want to kill resonance drone, not hermetically seal and waterproof the entire car in asphalt.
For the trunk I'd do big squares on the quarters, lid and floor. Special attention to sticking it up into the sailpanels.
