Repainting speaking covers

Thinking about repainting my speaker covers in the Imp with the SEM 15393 Medium grey. They are a little sun damaged but not "that" bad. Anything I should do after I pop them out but before I paint them?

I would suggest a good cleaning first. SEM also makes a vinyl & plastic prep that works well.
I don`t remember the number, but I`m sure wherever you got the color coat from would have it. Good Luck!

yeah I was just going to scrub it lightly. I recall last time I removed the cover it was a little brittle from the sun damage so don't want to gouge it.

To keep it simple, scrub 'em with soap and water with a scuff pad you'd use to clean your pots and pans with (the green ones). Rinse, let dry and paint.

Did this today. Looks GOOD! (And by good I mean stock and not piss yellow)

They had a crack in them I fixed the same way I did my door panels.
