As long as the amps' gain controls are capable of matching a 2.5 volt input and you know how to properly set the gain to match the output of the HU, you'll be fine with that. Most amps work well from .5 volts to 5 volts for their inputs. As long as the HU falls within that range, it'll work without clipping. If you use the gain as a volume knob, as many people incorrectly do, a HU with a higher output will allow the amps to feed the speakers "more" power. By "more" I mean "clipped."
