Very very very strange

I bought my 96 impala about 2yrs ago. The guy I bought it from installed a radio made by a company called NAXA. Last week the radio tripped out. It would turn from Aux on its own and cycle through CD, Radio, Aux, and USB all by itself. When I turned the radio off, it turned itself on. When I detached the face, the radio still played. Today I simply took the radio out and bought a new one. The guy at the radio shop said he never seen a problem like that b4. Has anyone heard of this problem b4?

Garage
I wouldn't be surprised if there are bad caps in that radio, given the era. That can lead to all kinds of other-than-expected operation.

Man crazy huh. Ole boy at the shop came up with a solution. He said, "We can start by using some holy water and prayer. We can try an exorsist if that doesn't work."
