I have a 1993 roadmaster and got 6x9's for the rear deck but there are no speaker grills to just pull off and replace the speakers. Do I have to take out the rear seat and if so how do I do it? Thanks

try looking in the trunk on the underside of the rear deck and see if they unbolt from there. a lot of gm cars that i have had from '85-'91 have been like this. usually therre is a hanger type of bracket that just holds them i there. it should just pop out of place.

on my 1996, you have to pull out the whole rear shelf, if you don't care about doing a little bit of damage (non-cosmetic) you can pull it out without taking out the seats, otherwise, you will have to take them out. To get the bottoms out, just push it back towards the trunk of the car and lift up, the seat back will just be screwed in, you can see the screws once the bottom is out.
