Ok I used a power tester and i noticed that the Red(12VOlt Ignition Wire) has power when the car is on, however the yellow(12Volt Battery Wire) does not. I am attaching an aftermarket GM Harness to the factory harness. Has anyone encountered this? How can i get my radio to work???

give us a little more info please.

You are connecting an aftermarket GM harness to the factory. does this mean you have cut wiring in the dash, and are putting on the aftermarket version of the factory plug? or are you installing an aftermarket radio?

ok... i finally got it. what i did to solve the problem was run a wire to the battery (12VOlt Source)and put an inline fuse and used this to connect to the radio. Now the radio works with no problems. It seems as though the factory radio harness only has one live wire in it and not two.
