I'm wondering about stereo/CD unit from other GM vehicles to swap into my non-CD, non-Cassette stock radio. Which years and cars/trucks will be a direct swap? I figure anything from early '90's to mid '90's w/ the same size face. How 'bout it?

I belive you are right. They are delco's the ones that MIGHT be diff or have extra connections are the ones with the SCF. The ones that change the volume at different speeds. Maybe someone else would chime in?

Pretty much any non-Bose head unit from approx 90-98 or so will plug in electrically. You'd need to add the Vss wire for the SCV function, but no biggie to not worry about it (and everything else in the radio will work fine)

As far as "bolt" in.....brackets vary, and might require moving the brackets from your old radio to the new one.
