I had my system running fine for like a year. I just got subs and I disconnected everything to sound deaden the trunk. I also took the head unit out for unrelated reasons. Everything is hooked up again, but the head unit won't turn on. I have the power wire running directly to the battery. I know the wire has power because it sparks when I touch it to the ground wire. The power light on the amp is on, and it is plugged into the same power source. I don't get it. Is my head unit just screwed, or what?

Thanks for the help,
Matt

Okay, after talking to Crutchfield, I have determined that my head unit is indeed dead. Luckily, it's under warranty. Hooray, new head unit.
