I know alot of you guys install 2- 61/2 on your front door, has anyone did a 6x9 or is that an over kill?

6.5's produce better sound then 6x9's so 6.5 with tweet components are gonna be ur best bet for sound quality no such thing is oval sound waves and all 6x9's are good for is lots of bass where as a 6.5 is more of mids and tweets for highs and subs for lows

does anyone actually like the way the stock 4x6 sounds? I hated mine. Especially since the 6 1/2 sounds 10 times better. That is why higher end manufacturers made a 4x6 plate with a 4" round and a tweeter.

4x6 is just an average piece of **** oem quality worth pretty much nothing replace with 6.5 thats what im doin come spring
