Has anyone that has used the 1/2 inch plywood template for the 6.5 inch components had any problem with the door panels going on? I am in the process of installing new components in the door. I already have 6.5 in the doors. But I thought the 1/2 plywood would give me somewhere to mount the tweeter also.

Thanks

1/2" shouldn't be a problem at all.

If you looking for better imaging mount the tweeters in the triangular pilar where the window meets the door.

I've been able to mount most tweeters above the 6.5. Anyone that bought templates from me must've had no problems either.

What's causing the problem with the door panel fitting??? Are you flush fitting the tweeter? Or trying to surface mount it?
