As you can see in my car domain, I have everything I need for a great sound. However I want to redo my trunk with the equiptment I have but I really dont know or have any idea what I want to do. for a cleaner look. I have access to a wood shop that have all the tools of the trade to make any kind of box I want to do. I was thinking of fiberglass sub box and a amp rack, and port the box to the rear deck, with my 4-6x9's. But I also like the subs in the side wall my the rear q panels. Any ideas out there.

my set up is easy to do , but only if you like it

how fancy do you want it

are you sure about using all the rest of the stuff you got , or are you opened to possible chages

Well to start nothing is wrong with change. Change is good. I only put the amp board up because I didnt want to mount the amps onto the sub boxes like i see alot of people do. That was the fastest and cheapest thing that I could think of at the time given a couple power tools.
Also now I have a 1500W mono Kenwood Amp, 950W Kenwood 2ch, 750W Pioneer 2ch, and 2-kicker 150W 2ch amps. I just bought a 2 farad digital cap.
I am willing to hear your suggestions.

amp board was good for all reasons you said
but it is another obstacle for the bass to get through to find its way into cabin

you comfortable doing all the work yourself

measuring
cutting wood
carpeting or using tweed
running wires
removing panels

basically do you have

tools &
garage

if you have to use car as a daily driver then work needs to be planned and done in steps

if you have another car you can do a full diassembly and just re-install all at once

do you want to be able to keep spare tire
do you want use use trunk for anything else except music

please advise

Yeah I have tools and a garage. I have just about anything that I will need for the job. I have access to a full wood shop and tool room. I have enough MDF wood to build a shed. I have access to carpet. But I just need the Idea and guidance. I have the craftsmanship and time. I also have a daily driver. This is just the weekend car. So time isnt the issue or tools.
And I would like the spare but who need a spare when you have road side assistance.

so far you have all the right answers

i am leaving work now

and i will get back to you tommorow

have nice evening

if you are restless

disconnect your battery and take everything out of trunk

that should keep you busy for 2 hours

do the trunk demolition, clean it all out and store it neatly

speak to you tommorow

i would recommned 3/4 mdf for box

and 5/8 mdf for all amp panels

peace
