Hey, I've probably asked this around here once maybe but since you seem to be familiar with Eclipse stuff I thought I would ask you specifically...

Do you think my 34230 is strong enough to drive a pair of 12 inch Aluminum Eclipse Subs? It's more than enought power for the 12 inch Kicker Comp VRs I'm currently running, but I'm not totally happy with the bass. It's loud and has good extension, but the sound seems a little loose. I'm thinking that a more SQ oriented sub would sound a cleaner and tighter.

Here's some link to a couple pics of my system. My website is fairly new and It will be several more weeks before I get around to describing my audio efforts and putting the audio pics on the pages.

Ah, the good old 34230. Their first attempt at a sub amp. Was going to get that one but waited since I heard that they were commng out with more beefy ones. Lets see, that one is about 400 per channel and the new aluminum 12s are 500 watts rms a peice. Since I had my 33230, and that was 400 briged at 4ohm, running my 12 before getting the DA7122 which is 500 watts x 1 at 4ohms. But anyway. And that smaller amp on my sub sounded pretty good. That was with a .9-.95 cuin box (which i still have.) But youll be more than pleased with the sound and accuracy when you get the 2 aluminums but you would be more happy if you got one of their new sub amps as well. same current draw but more powerful and more efficient as well. Which if you got the DA7122 or DA7232 get 2 single voice coil 4ohm subs so youre giving them just the right power they need and not going to over power them.
