Ok I am working on my sub box for my trunk. and right now I got the whole box buttoned up and ready to go but I noticed when I cut the middle brace I cut it a bit short and there is about a 1/16th of a gap on the bottom. I am not sure if caulking is going to seal it good or not. So I was thinking of just glassing that center brace where it meets the bottom of my sub box. Would I be good it I just brushed some epoxy fiberglass resin in the crack or do I also need to lay down some fiberglass chop matt as well?

The best way to do it is to lay some chop matt on both sides and resin both sides.
Good Luck
