Hey all you audio gurus, is anyone familiar w/hack's speaker boxes. The ones that mount on either side of the spare tire firing into the back seat? anyway, I bought the pair that Thump was selling, now looking to get some subs for them, they are fairly small, so the sub need to do will in small boxes, I believe air space is about .6-.7 cu ft each. I was looking at the image dynamics idq10s the would work in that airspace as far as I can tell. I believe Thump ran jl audio 10w3v2s, so anything around those lines/prices, will work, any help is appreciated. Or does anyone else still have these? if so what are you using? thanks

yeah he said they were originally made for the first solobarics, the round ones, he didn't recommend anything else...if I don't get anymore ideas I will probably just get the idq's the have the same dimensions as the jls per their website, so they should fit. There aren't really any local shops that sell them so I will just have to go off of that...

Adam : note these are NOT the "baffle boards" that HACK sold about eleventybillion copies of

Rather, it is a set of custom-built SEALED boxes made to work with his trunk kit and fit around an SS aluminum spare tire/wheel. Scott could tell you for sure, but a good guess from knowing the situation is that you could count the number of sets of these boxes made by HACK on one hand

What kind of mounting depth do we have here? Any pictures to satisfy my curiousity?

O i know Ed the guy I am talking about is an old HAIL member (Frank Pierce)the drove over to austin to have scott build and install his whole system. The boxes are what used to be called the arnold boxes. right?
