I was continuing my install of my new speakers and after having one hell of a time i got the drivers side front speaker wire through the door.

my problem is this. im trying to wire the passenger side speaker. i cant seem to find out where the wire would come through after feeding it through the door. it feels like it is getting stuck because of something in the way.

my trick to feed the wire through on the drivers side was to zip tie a piece of coat hanger and feed it through the door. worked like a charm. couldnt figure out what the hell to do with the passenger side though.

will i need to pull off the upper dash? anyone have any tips or tricks on running new wire for that speaker? any help is appreciated. thanks

Both are the same. They come out behind the lower dash just above the kickpanel.

I was able to do the driver side w/o a coat hanger on the 1st time.

The passenger side, I did have the lower dash removed as well as the part of the dash that unclips on the passenger side. There is also a black cover on the bottom that will unclip out.

The passenger side, I didnt need the coathanger and I had to move the grommet/rubber tube around to work the wire around the wire harness.

Once it went through, I was able to reach around the plastic boxes behind the kickpanel to pull it through.

If you are installing components in the doors, be sure to route 2 sets of speaker wire at the same time.
