Street Trends-----belly up?

A while ago KW posted about Street Trends terrible service. Well I spoke up and said that I never had had any problem in the past. Well I should of listened to the guys of this board. I ordered a hood insulator from Jason on Nov.23 . The only reason I did it was because of free shipping. He said it was about 3 weeks for delivery and I should have it by Dec.14th Yea right! He has $229 of my money and I have nothing. Dec.14 was the last time he answered a phone He won't respond to any for of communication on any format. Is any one else in this boat with me, or should I just get a lawyer to settle this for me? Tell what what you guys think. I have never been taken advantage on any level in all my dealing with people all over America----until now

Over 3 weeks and no communication? Unless he calls you tomorrow and explains that he tried but he is deceased then I'd call you've already allowed way too much time. Hopefully you paid by cc, and depending on which one the deadline for disputing/protesting a charge may be anywhere from "one billing cycle" or "30 days", to "no deadline". Make that phonecall right after you read this is my HO. HTH

Sorry to hear this and hope u get things sorted out. I was lucky with them years ago myself but did hear some bad stories. Whatever their issues are, they can't just respond to you? Being in the service industry myself, you got to set customer expectations if something gets delayed and they dropped the ball.

I would not llet this drag on any longer either and get your money back thru pp and look elsewhere for the part. To heck with Street Trends if this is how they want to act. If they really cared about their reputation, ,they would at least let you know SOMETHING! I understand that direct shipping from 1 of their suppliers puts them in the middle or whatever the issue, but that's their issue and they need to communicate this to the buyer.

Garage
I ordered some seat upholstery from them about two weeks ago. I received an email confirming my order the next day, but nothing since then to confirm order processing or shipping. There's been no response to email sent last week asking when the order will be shipped, so I tried to call. The message was routed to voice mail, and I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. Sounds like I need to take this up with PayPal, too.

It is not just USA buyers who got stiffed!

A customer of ours at Hamilton Chevy who lives in France decided to buy a couple pairs of coils springs from Street Trends after I warned him not to and he got nothing as well. He had to get Paypal to give him his money back. I do not know what is going on with Street Trends but there is a pattern starting to emerge.

I wanted to pull the trigger on his smoothie bumper package that included free shipping but was hesitant because of the bad reviews. I was reading his posts from Facebook and he seemed in the Fall to be shipping lots of orders, but he hasn't posted anything in awhile so who knows whats up...good luck

As I have said previously: You are screwed, because lawyers cost way more than $229. Street Trends knows this, and that is how they get away with it.

Nope. With a well stated case, PayPal will almost certainly reverse the charges....even after >30 days.
