abs reluctor

what exactly is the abs reluctor? i dont kno realy what it is or looks like, nor what it does. i want to see if i can fab one up myself.

The ABS reluctor is a gear that's pressed on to your rear end's pinion shaft. The gears are different depending on what rear gear your'e running. It sends a signal to a sensor that is mounted inside the housing. The signals come from the rear brakes. Without the proper setup your'e going to get the ABS warning light and your ABS will not work properly.

The only availability for a 4.56 reluctor I believe is Bob Shirley who custom makes them.
