Seriously starting to look at doing an LS swap now. I've got the mounts, harness and FEAD sorted, but wondering about how people are hooking up the compressor and ps pump. Do custom lines need to be created for both? I looked in the LS Swap thread, but those questions were not answered.

million different ways.

My power steering , I put #6 JIC male braze ends on the hard lines from pump and box.
Then I could make up the #6 PTFE, Braided Stainless line the length I needed.

Depending on your set up, there are also #6 direct adapters you can buy but I like the routing you can get with hard line

The AC , i reshaped the lines ,
cut the hoses off at the compressor end.
Bought new "galaxy hose" ends that fit my compressor adapter and had them crimped on.

It also help for a clean install , use a different drier with the fittings in a different position than the original LT1 one

Just out of curiosity, who did the crimping of the fittings? A place that makes P/S and hydraulic lines, or did you have to specifically find someone doing AC stuff?

In my case , I had them crimped by an A/C shop. I Since found out a guy that I used to do car setup for has everything and is 1 mile from my home.

"Galaxy hose" is important . Galaxy is a thinner wall hose and requires special fittings.
That is what these cars use so if you are using factory hose and adapting, you must use ends that are for galaxy .
The crimping dies, same deal.

I used 08 Corvette accessories.

The pressure relief setting in the "Y" body PS pump works just fine.

I was told the variable displacement AC compressor would not work with the "B" body AC.
My investigating showed no reason it shouldn't.
It was been about 6 years in and it continues to work very well .
