Hey guys my 95 Impala SS threw the #8 rod with no warning at all and under normal driving conditions, so I am in the process of removing the engine. Any advice you guys can give me to make the removal any easier? I am more than likely pulling the tranny with the engine because it seems like it would be easier. I am going to pull the exhaust manifolds too of course but Im just asking for any advise on things that would make the process any easier. Thanks...Steve

Disconnect the wiring inside at the firewall on the passenger side and take the 10mm (I think) nuts off, then you can pull the whole harness out with the engine (and put it on the engine on the stand before install).
