Caprice wagon with stock exhaust. The passenger side exhaust flange to the cat pipe rusted out. Looks like the intermediate pipe is welded to the muffler and the pipe end is flared. I don't weld so can I cut the pipe to get the flange in place then use a band clamp for butt joints? Is there a better way to fix this?
