Heidts independent rear

I'm SAS follow-ing this one. IRS rear vs. live axle is always a Nice To Have on any ride. BUT. Just wondering whether more a case of the somewhat similar recurrent chatter over the decades re: rack n pinion steering. Scads of trouble with no word I've ever heard of any bonafide close to bolt-on options, with maybe some old pickup or older A- or B- or G- body application getting close-ish. And what those on the track considering it more cost than near the value in terms of improved performance.
