Hello, I'm Sandit, from the south side of Kansas City MO. Got a '92 Caprice Classic that I've had since early 2019. Been going through it slowly fixing a bunch of the things that crop up on a 30 plus year old car. Looking to do some reliability and performance modifications, with an LS swap being a long term goal.

The "dream" starts to fall apart for me. I tell myself, "well, I'm going to want a manual transmission, and then, can the caprice classic rear end handle the LS?"
So, after all that, the cost gets way out of line.
Maybe the stock rear end is fine, or where you are located, there are plenty of Impala rear ends that are up for grabs?
Anyway, looking forward to your posts if you do go though with it!
I also toy with the idea of putting and LS in a 91-93 B body, if I were to get some extra free time. Those caprice classics are available so cheap.
