O ring issue replaced compressor

I replaced my compressor on my 1991 Wagon with a compressor from a 1993 wagon. They are identical except for the O rings that seal the lines in the back. The 91 compressor had O rings that fit the holes in the back of the compressor. The 93 compressor does not have this. What is the proper O ring to use? Do I need to get the rings that fit the newer compressor? Will it give the proper seal without changing the lines?

That 93 will need the flat washer style sealing o ring. It looks like a washer with a squashed oring in the middle. Get the PN from rockauto so you can pick up locally. Your dealer will have them, too.
