steering problem.

Problem started Saturday. Went to move car and the steering wheel felt as if it was stuck. Left and came back a couple of hours later, started the car and steering worked normally. Yesterday, Sunday I jumped in the car and again the steering wheel is almost impossible to turn. What do you think it could be. I am guessing power steering pump, but I could be wrong.

Unless your belt is slipping inaudibly or you've run out of PS fluid, your pump is probably telling you it's at the end of its life.

Leaking water pump dripping on belt?

That is just the way my car was acting. I thought the powersteering pump or something was on it's way out. It was doing this on and off for a couple of weeks. In the end it was the water pump dripping on the belt.
