u should be able to tow that with no problem.. might have to change a few things but the 9c1 caprice can haul 5000lbs stock.. urs could probably haul that no problem

I didnt know the 9C1's could tow so much. I wonder where i can find that hitch.

No towing package on 9c1's. You don't need it. No LT-1's with 3.23's. You have 3.08's which are also OK. Trailer Life is wrong about the above info. The towing capacity is 5000 not 6000.
What you probably could use is a TransgoHD2 kit for the trans. Check and see if you have G80 Posi, also a useful thing to have though not essential.

 

Also, tow in drive and not overdrive.

 

It does have the G80 posi.
And it has the heavy duty brakes and oil-trans coolers.

 

And yes I will be towing in Drive.
