Adding twilight sentinel?

If my low optioned caprice came without this option what would I need in order to get it? I'm guessing TS module, light Sensor, and obviously the headlight switch with TS setting built in. Is this feature even worth the complications of adding it(I know, just turn the damn switch, right?)

I didn't add it

I also have a low optioned Caprice that over the years have added a lot of the factory options from B-Body donors....Power Seats, side mirrors with Heat, Cortesy Door lights and soon to add lighted visor, Rearview mirror and coat hooks.

I picked up the entire twilight setup quite a while ago and was going to add it but ended up selling the setup to another member. The instructions I had showed a Gray Plug (taped off) up in the dash area around the cluster for this to be added. The problem is my low optioned Caprice, did not have this built into the wiring Harness. Neither did the other stuff that I have added. I had to make up my own harnesses for everything since they weren't there hiding somewhere. After not having this feature for 15 yrs, I decided it wasn't worth my time to investagate it more.

Post it up if you decide to do this.

Getting the wiring in place would be the hardest part. In a 94-96 the module mounts behind the PS kick panel on a special bracket. The ground is at G104 behind the DS kick panel.

The modules often need to have some connections resoldered on the circuit board. It is a nice feature, and if you get used to it, turning the switch becomes a chore. It keeps you from forgetting to turn on the lights, and getting a ticket, or having an accident.

Added that to three of my wagons and love the feature. Will do it to any more wagons I get that don't have it.

Got a how to on my web site if you need it.
